MastCell Tracker passes 2,000 downloads

This month the MastCell Tracker app passed 2,000 downloads across iPhone and Android. For a condition as under-recognized as MCAS, that number is more than a statistic — it's two thousand people choosing to make the invisible visible.

A milestone measured in people

Every download represents someone who has spent too long being told their symptoms are hard to explain. Reaching 2,000 downloads means a growing community is now logging symptoms, spotting triggers, and walking into appointments with data instead of guesswork.

We're a non-profit, so we don't measure success in revenue. We measure it in whether the people who need continuous monitoring most can actually reach it — and this milestone tells us the mission is resonating.

What the community is already doing

In the first months, patients have used the app to catch patterns they'd never connected before — a food, a room, a time of day. Those small discoveries are exactly what MCAS care has been missing.

Two thousand downloads is two thousand reasons to keep building.

Where we go from here

The app was always step one. The MCT-1 wearable biosensor is next, turning manual logging into continuous, automatic monitoring. As the community grows, so does the evidence base that helps us build better tools for everyone in it.
