MastCell Tracker is a non-profit organization building tools — including the MastCell Tracker app and the MCT - 1 wearable biosensor — to help people living with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and related conditions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide, such as your name and email address.
- Health information you choose to log, such as symptoms, triggers, medications, and notes.
- Sensor data from the MCT - 1, such as biosensing readings, when you pair a device.
- Device and usage information, such as app version and basic diagnostics, to keep the service working.

We use your information to provide and improve the app and MCT - 1, to generate the insights and patterns you ask for, to support you, and to advance our non-profit mission of mast cell research and access. We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the service — for example, with service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations — or when required by law. You control when your data is shared with your care team.
Privacy-first design
The MCT - 1 and app are built privacy-first, with sensitive processing designed to protect your data by default. Your health data stays yours unless you choose to share it.

- Delete your account and associated data.
- Manage in-app permissions and device pairing at any time.
- Contact us to exercise any privacy rights available to you under applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit access to it.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
